Chicken pitta extra hot
1/4 chicken extra hot leg
Cheese
Pineapple
Soft drink
£11.25

FOOD: a classic lo-carb order for me. Great pitta with a generous helping of chicken, lots of spice. Being a man of pineapple and cheese preference, I sometimes find my pitta to be below an enjoyable temperature (as they don't heat the pineapple any more) but this nandos gets the celsius absolutely spot on, with a beautiful round 70 degree heat. The same standard cannot be said for the 1/4 chicken leg. When it arrived, it was a skimpy leg with no meat and a tiny thigh. I immediately sent it back proclaiming 'I spent £4.05 on THIS?!' Within 5 minutes an absolutely beautiful, molten hot leg arrived at my table. 'Is this one ok?' Anita said. 'YES!' I said as my eyes lit up. I finished the pitta and started on what turned out to be the most sublime leg I've ever had in nandos. Copious amounts of sauce, flaming hot temperature and a giant oyster. A real lip tingler. 8/10

PLACE: Table 5, I chose table 5 because it was by the window but when I sat down realised it was not much of a view as it is in a modern shopping centre. Just a couple of 'Raphael's Bank' cash machines to keep my attention this nandos is situated in a very modern setting with out of character art on the wall. I like the quick diner feel with the orange tiles and lime green wall decoration. Feels a bit like Japan. Strong plastic chairs ensure that there is no worry of the chair buckling. Obviously being new, this nandos had the airblade. It also has out of the ordinary urinals which are like red plastic circles. Concrete sink. Button on the ice machine was not flush with the main body of the machine, a little pushed in, still worked fine. 7/10

HOST: immediately got offered a choice of tables which I think boosts the nandos entrance experience twofold. The actual till experience was fun. I had marina the trainee who was being trained by Anita. She was very much at the beginners stage, highly scripted but we had great fun. She asked me 4 times if I had been to nandos before, even though I had already presented a loyalty card with 6 stamps. Hilarious. very cheery 7/10
