Southend

the food was impeccable, as always. the service stood out a lot today, had great service from jimmy. he answered lots of questions with amazing knowledge and gave a helping hand, checked in on us and provided a friendly face. excellent customer service. another staff member that stood out was amy, always checking in on us and asking about the food, recommending and providing us with newer items to try and giving good comfortability.

fatima was wonderful, she helped us move to a more convenient table and recommended an amazing sauce for us to try! she was very sweet and inviting!

the staff member jimmy helped out so much, making sure our table was clean and perfect for us and having a positive attitude when it came to work. he had a lovely, welcoming smile and overall made the experience better. the food was outstanding and service was brilliant.

Ordered 10 extra hot wings with some sides, food was quality, came rapidly and could tell it was fresh, waiter jimmy was spectacular, he was polite useful, answered every question and interest we had, will return

A rainy (and unseasonably cold) September evening in Southend, and having just landed from Majorca at the local airport, we needed some spice to help us feel better about the return to reality.

The Nandos' is on a high street, and parking was easy to find outside on a Sunday evening. I'm guessing it would be more difficult during the day though, since it all looked like pay and display.

Got there just after 7pm after a 20 minute walk from the beach. We were greeted almost straight away but were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. I asked if we could sit at table six in the window which was not allocated. I was ignored and we had to wait for a table. 10 minutes later we were given table 11, two tables away from six to which we saw a couple being given that table who entered the restaurant after we did.

This store was nightmare to get to as was a sunny bank holiday Sunday and I spent 45 minutes in gridlock getting into Southend on sea as everyone from the whole of Essex seemed to trying to get to the seafront. Being in the town centre it wasn't so rammed, in fact I was surprised how quiet the street was outside.

although sometime you have to wait for a table for a little while, by far my favourite nandos!! its worth the wait!

I go to Nandos at least once a week. I love it so much, it's the best meal out with my girls ever!
It's superb value for money and I can never wait to go next!
The food it just gorgeous! The chips are always so fresh and the chicken just, mmmm! Its scrumalishcious- if thats even a word!
