This Nando's is on the Crystal Peaks retail park, in the middle of the triangle of Owlthorpe, Beighton and Sothall. The retail park has a large Asda, Homebase and B&M. Crystal Peaks has its own tram stop and Nando's is a five minute walk from that. Otherwise there are hundreds of free spaces offering four hours free parking.
Arrived here bang on opening at 11am so was the first person in. A special mention to the incredible aircon in here that was welcome on the very warm day! :)
This is very much the newest Nando's (at time of writing), so was very clean and bright. The ceiling has loads of red streamers hanging down with some large green and white cones for lampshades. There are then larger red paper cones too. Plenty of large booths. Loads of canvas paintings - and all just nice and bright.
I was advised by a couple of people before I'd even sat down that there would be a 20-25 mins wait for food as they were running a bit behind with the opening - but no worries for me. In the end the food came in around 17 minutes so better than expected.
The staff were so apologetic about it as well that my normal chicken burger was upgraded to a butterfly burger (yes!) and some extra chips were thrown on. I was also given a free dessert - result! Very happy that the food was also cooked superbly. The chicken butterfly was plump, very juicy and saucy and all of the chips were hot and crispy.
Staff very friendly and attentitive throughout.
