Reigate - Ryan Review
This Nando's is located on the High Street, just down from the entrance to Morrisons (off the High Street). Morrisons offers two hours free parking. Reigate train station is half a mile walk away.
From the high street, you might very well walk past this as there is no red or black on the outside (to fit in with surrounding decor obviously darling). Inside it's quite a big Nando's - being split over two floors with a till upstairs also and the toilets upstairs. Downstairs there are three large square booths by the serving hatch - lots of bare brick with canvasses on them. Upstairs feels brighter and more open with more bare bricks walls. Not really any funky lighting other - just lots of spot lighting. Toilets were clean and had an orange stencil pattern around the walls. Nothing really stood out in this Nando's.
Arrived here about 4:30pm on a Tuesday and it was very empty, so the food came in under 10 minutes. Went for the sunset burger and chips. The thighs in this burger were superb - nice and thick and very juicy and saucy. The cheese was properly melted too. The chip portion was very large and filled the plate completely - but they were all rather cold. Averages each other out.
Staff were pleasant enough and doing as expected.
