A quick work trip to Qatar and luckily I had the first night to myself to seek out a new Nando's! This one is located in the heart of the stunning Pearl development north of Doha, right in the middle of the Central zone.
The restaurant itself is on the edge of a mall, with an entrance from the street, and fairly standard decor for a new(ish) Nando's in the Middle East. It was still about 40 degrees outside when I arrived, so I of course went for a table inside in the air conditioning!
Service was at the table and I ordered one of the stuffed espetadas which was absolutely delicious. The combination of the cheese stuffing, and particularly tender and we'll cooked thighs, made every bite of chicken an absolute pleasure - I didn't want it to end! The sides of chips and rice were also very good, so I'm awarding a rare 5/5 for food on this occasion.
Staff were friendly and attentive. My waiter suggested I have Mild or Hot sauce when I ordered which I did find a bit insulting though - I quickly corrected him to Extra Hot and he said "oh yes, very good sir".
