First time to Oxford for a few years so had forgotten about the one-way system throughout the town and campusses... Still, if you just follow the parking signs for "Central Areas" you'll eventually pop out at Worcester Street car park and this Nando's is right next to it. I think the parking tarriffs apply from 8am-8pm. I got here at around 7:35pm so had to pay £3.10... but I think for three hours it's only £4 or so anyway.

The branch was about half full and a few staff on so no time to wait for a table or to order - and the food came in around 13 minutes. Staff weren't unfriendly, but other than showing me to my table and bringing my food, there was nothing special.

Other than a few booths to your left as soon as you walk in, it's otherwise a long, narrow branch - with the table/booths all in the windows and the aisle by the counter. There's actually a handful of seats available at the counter too. The branch curves round at the back too and the windows here seem like they can open up completely into the street, so may be good when it's a sunny summer's day. The lighting here is very interesting. Hundreds (maybe thousands) of empty peri-peri bottles suspended from the ceiling with about 5% having light bulbs in them. These are over the tables in the window and the lighting curves all the way round with the branch too - so it is very bright and interesting to look at. Toilets were spotless too - but are only a couple of unisex cubicles.

Compared to my Nando's the day before, this was much nicer. A pretty small half chicken, but smothered in sauce. The chips were crispy and the rice portion was bigger than normal.
