Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:

Entrance is by a small tall table seating area on the ground floor of the Eldon shopping centre in city centre, which was not been used for eating despite there being a wait for tables upstairs. We were coralled here with other waiting customers by a staff member before being sent upstairs, Also very large seating area outside in the square but too cold to use. Incrediably slow lift upstairs (mother is 74) which ment people who headed up after us got our table upstairs which ment having to wait again. The lift was playing up as well as saw staff had to get the release key 4 times whilst we were there to open up people trapped with pushchairs inside. otherwise nice stair well if can climb it. very long store with plenty of windows looking out on old Eldon square. Toilets were in middle, clean and convienient. Store was neat and liked feel of it. We were informed we would have 25 min wait for chicken but was disapointed when it arrived faster than this as it was very burnt. Scaped and cut off the burnt bits from pieces and gave them to my "special" brother who likes burnt food but he even found some too charcoal and also ment I lost the sauce on them. When they eventually came to check if it was ok they were very appologetic and offered to bring more chicken but since we had eaten all the sides we weren't keen but they gave us a free dessert which definatly made up for the chicken and got my brother excited. My brother loved his first visit to Nandos esp refillable fanta.
