Our second Nando's visit in Oman and it wasn't quite as good as yesterday. This one is located within a nice shopping mall, with all the main international clothing brands, a cinema, a huge hypermarket, and many other restaurants. Unfortunately we struggled to find the Nando's at first, not helped by there being no mall maps in sight. We followed the signs to the restaurant area, but unfortunately the Nando's was no where near, and actually 2 floors down between a couple of shops. Some better signage would go a long way! I wonder how many visitors Nando's miss out on because they follow the signs for 'restaurants' and therefore never go anywhere near the Nando's?

Once we arrived we were sat down straight away and our order was taken within a few minutes. Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy the food took about 25 minutes to arrive, almost resulting in a rare (for the UK at least) 1/5. However I'll let it scrape a 2/5, since I could see the grillers were working away the whole time, and it wasn't as if our food was sitting there getting cold, which can happen sometimes back home.

As for the food itself, I went for a double wrap with halloumi which was absolutely dripping in sauce; so much that I had a lovely amount on my plate to dip chips in afterwards! Main reason for marking the food down slightly is that there wasn't much halloumi at all, which was disappointing given it cost nearly £1.50. In fact, one half of the wrap had none, while the other half had two small pieces.

Overall a decent enough Nando's, and looking forward to trying to squeeze the other two in while we are here!
