I'm writing a review after a member of staff very politely asked if I'd be willing to.
I happily agreed, because the Mt Lawley staff do indeed deserve glowing praise.
I eat here pretty most every Sunday lunch, and have been doing so over ten years, so I think it's fair to say I've put in 500 or more visits to this particular Nandos. I've seen staff come and go (as they inevitably move upward into new careers, I don't mean a bad turnover!), and the more recent refurbishment is quite nice too. The style is on-brand, it's clean and tidy, and I've never seen it more than half full on a Sunday, so the wait times are short and it's never noisy. Oh and the view out onto Beaufort street is quite pleasant... even if I'm looking at my phone half the time I suppose :)
Most important of all, though - are the Sunday staff. It's not just that they're so friendly to the patrons - it's how I see them treating each other too. Consequently, there's a sublime but rare atmosphere of contentedness here, and that is what makes this place a complete standout. Hats off to Nandos Mt Lawley, thank you.
