Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:
Parking is £1.20 for one hour or £2.70 for anything over an hour in this extremely modern shopping centre which is home to one of the most spacious Nando's I've seen recently. Vast numbers of shops and restaurants surround this Nando's such as HMW, Waterstones and Marks and Spencer.
The branch itself has a large downstairs section as well as around 12 tables outside which is where we sat on a fine Spring day in the sun! There is also an upstairs seating area which was not in use. This leads me to think that even at peak times, the wait for a table will never be that long. On a hot Friday at 1:45, we were shown straight to our table.
The main problem was the service, our food take just over 20 minutes to arrive and we consequently had to rush in order not to have to pay for an extra hour in the car park.
The food itself was good but the other party of my group left disappointed as a quarter chicken, chicken burger and chips did not prove enough to fully satisfy him. My half chicken and large chips were of the usual standard but I felt that the leg was slightly lacking in meat.
Staff were friendly, especially manager Luís.
With slightly better service and more generous portions, this branch could be one of the best!
