Nando's 29 was Manchester Printworks, where I've been twice before, and where we've attempted to go several other times, only to be told to wait 15-30 minutes for a table.

Very crowded this time too, we were eventually kinda' shown to a table (by means of pointing).

The list of things wrong with this visit is rather large.

The place was crowded, and not even in a normal Nando's way. People were being told to wait in the gangways between tables on the ground floor, making it very crammed and noisy.

Upstairs the water/ice machine was not working, and we were advised to drink from the hand cleaning tap instead.

On the paid drinks side, Sprite was not working.

I asked for breast (asking at the end if the guy had picked breast when I saw he hadn't pressed the button), but was served a leg. When I brought it up to the counter to swap, they didn't rush me a replacement. It was at least another 15 minutes, and the two sides were cold when they brought it all back out.

The 1/4 breast was actually pretty big and nice when they did bring it out, but virtually everybody else in my group had finished their food by then.

I was going to complain to the manager, but just wanted to get out of there to be honest.

We left, the chicken-on-a-stick still on our table.

On the previous occasions when we were asked to wait for a table, we've instead gone to the Spinningfields Nando's. It's just a 15 minute walk away, and infinitely better in all ways than this dingy and crowded branch.
