It was my best friend’s Birthday, I was invited to join her for something to eat at Nando‘s restaurant in Parrswood entertainment complex, Manchester. She had also invited 4 other friends to join in to make up a party. We went to the restaurant at about 4 o’clock in evening. It was not very busy. The waiter showed us to our table. As soon as we sat down, there was an other group of 4 people came into the restaurant. What a coincident, they were friends of ours. What better to ask them to join in for the birthday celebration. We join the table together. There were 10 of us in total. We order 3 full chicken platters to share and 10 bottomless drinks. It was great to eat with such a big party.

It was not long before our food arrived. The chicken smell delicious and spicy, look fantastic too. The chips were piping hot and crispy. All the other side dishes were looking good.

We talked and laughed as we tucked into our delicious meal. It didn’t take long for our party to polish up all the food. The waiters were all very nice. Keep coming over to our table to see if everything is all right and to make sure that everybody is having a good time. It is ashamed that we weren’t come prepared. We could have brought along balloons, streamers and crackers to make it even more fun. I don’t think the Nando’s mind us making a lot of noise as long as everybody is having a good time. After our main course we also order a dessert each. We had all different things from chocolate cakes to ice cream. We were really full after that.

Suddenly one of the guys from the party got up and decide to run across the road to Tesco to get a cake. He came back with a chocolate muffin with a candle on top. We had permission from the manager of Nando’s to bring our own food in for this special occasion. The waiter helped us to lit the candle. Everybody join in to sing Happy Birthday. It was a fantastic and enjoyable night out. I have not had so much fun and laugh so much for a long time. A member in the party suggested we should do it again soon. We all agreed to that.
