Took a large group of 15 to this Nandos today, to educate my fellow work colleagues in the art of Nandos, and for them to see what I actually get up to, and why I like Nandos!

I visited the restaurant an hour earlier to tell them of my requirements, so that a table could be created. When I arrived, I was whisked straight through the very busy restaurant, to the rear, where my big long table awaited. So far so good, as everyone filed in and took their seats. As there were some newbie Nandos with us, I was a little disappointed that none of the Nandocas offered to explain the menu, and this was left to me, who explained the menu to all those who had not been before, making recommendations as appropriate. I then went to place our order, which the manager did with great ease, being helped by my big long list which contained all the information they required. Bill paid, I returned to the table victorious.

We waited around 15 minutes for the meals to arrive, which I thought was very good considering they had to make 15 meals from scratch, for delivery at the same time. The only downside was that when the meals arrived, the order sheet had been taken from me, so I was unable to direct the Nandocas to the correct people. And as the restaurant was busy, many couldn't hear their orders being read out. Nethertheless, all were delivered, accounted for, and tucked in too, after a little confusion.

I ordered my usual, a Chicken Breast Burger Mango and Lime, with Side Salad and Spicy Rice. Washed down with a bottomless soft, as I was feeling adventurous. My meal was nice and warm when it arrived (first I hasten to add!) - The burger bun was soft, the chicken warm and smothered in Peri-Peri. The rice was starting to go a little cold, but the side salad was crunchy and cool. Overall, a good meal. Others around the table seemed to enjoy their meals, each only providing positive feedback. The meals ranged from Chicken Livers, Butterfly Chicken, to Whole Chickens, so quite a variety, and all appeared to go down well!

The cleanliness of the restaurant was a little drab though. When collecting 15 sets of cutlery, I picked out a few forks which still contained someone else's meal (I left them on the side for collection!), and there was quite a bit of rubbish lying around. Although the restaurant was very busy, it's no real excuse to slide on the dishes!

The staff were very helpful in this visit. Accommodating my needs of a large table, dealing with us as a group, only slightly let down by the delivery of the meals, but to be expected when there are a large number of meals being delivered at once.

Overall, not a bad trip. Meal was good, colleagues enjoyed theirs, atmosphere was good, staff were helpful in accommodating my needs, not bad!
