Entered the outlet, and was seated immediately at the back, in a booth. I arrived at 1130 exactly, which was unplanned, but is the opening time for this outlet. After a short while pondering the menu, wondering what chicken combination to have, I went to the till to place my order. The Nandoca navigated the order with ease, which included redeeming some illusive Peri-Peri rewards which had started racking up on my card. Order placed, a quick trip to the drinks machine, and returned to my table.

The outlet is split in two halfs. The front section, as you immediately enter, is tables and chairs for 2 or 4 chickenlovers, and the rear section, which is separated from the front by the cutlery and sauce area, contains one long table (which at the time of visit was acting as 4 separate, but joined, tables), and three booths. I was sat in the middle of these three booths. The decoration is very African, with some nice art work, but it did seem incredibly dark, as everything is very dark wood. The till and grill stretch along the right hand wall of the outlet, with a corridor leading to the toilets at the rear. The toilets left a little to be desired, and weren't a plus point on this trip (learn to aim!)

The meal arrived after 10 minutes, and was red hot. I ordered 3 chicken wings Mango and Lime, with a side salad. The chicken wings were red hot, with Peri-Peri smothered all over them. The chicken was incredibly tender, and in most cases just fell off the bones. Very tasty indeed. The salad was good, although it tasted a little dry and not all that fresh.

The Fallowfield branch is located on Wilmslow Road, in the mainly student Fallowfield area of Manchester. It is surrounded by other retail outlets, including a McDonalds, Sainsburys, Wetherspoon, and an Estate Agents. The outlet can be reached by bus, numbers 42, 43, 143, X41 and X57, all from Manchester City Centre. There is also a small amount of car parking immediately in front of the outlet.

Overall a reasonable little visit, and would come here again if I was in the Fallowfield area, but wouldn't specifically make the trip if I wasn't nearby.
