Manchester - Fallowfield - Gerry Louis Review
First of four Nando's of the day, we rocked up literally as the restaurant opened at eleven thirty. Therefore they had no reason to delay the food as there was no queue, unless they hadn't fired up all the cookers yet. One quid bus ride from Piccadilly, with many options of buses to get there, it's a pleasant ride and much cheaper to get to than any London branch.
Split into two sections with mini tables at the front, I picked a booth in the second section, which happened to be my age number. The booths are separated by bamboo stalks from the roof to the tops of the partition separating the booths. It was really cool.
Breakfast was a quarter chicken mango and lime with sweet mash. Mike or Mo who took the order brought the food over in fifteen minutes and it tasted really good. The mash was done well, only one large chunk in it and portion size was pretty decent. The chicken was cooked well, no pink bits, only a slight burnt bit at the wing tip but they can be forgiven for that.
We got the staff in good moods so they were very friendly. The toilets were okay, the restaurant was kept clean. The only downside is a really large table in the middle consisting of five or six smaller tables, and there is no way I'd wanna sit there unless it was for a RYN when "everyone" knows each other.
