Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:
After a meeting in the city centre, I thought I'd stop at this Nando's on my way back to London. Parking was easy and free at the Sainsbury's right next door, however I later found out there is some free parking right outside the restaurant itself, which is even easier!
There were only about 3 tables occupied in the rather small restaurant, and so everything happened very quickly and to an above average standard. The Nandocas were all very friendly and attentive, and the food came out in less than 10 minutes.
The food itself was almost perfect! The rice was one of the best portions I have ever had, and the double pitta was excellent. Main reasons I can't quite award the food a perfect 5/5 is the cheese and lettuce were falling out of the pitta so I had to reconstruct it on arrival. However, this is a general issue with pittas at Nando's and I have long thought they should get bigger pittas for anyone who orders a double!
Overall very nice and recommended.
