This Nando's is in the new King Street development next to an Odeon cinema. Still a few empty units - but should become a more bustling place. There's parking next door in the Reflex car park priced at 1hr/£1.30, 2hrs/£2.60, 3hr/£3.90, 4hrs/£5.00, 8hrs/£6.70 and 24hrs/£8.00. It's just a couple minutes walk from Maidenhead railway station too.
Stopped into this Nando's on a late Wednesday afternoon and there were just a few tables occupied. There's quite a few tables outside, but it's a busy thoroughfare so lots of people walking right by your table. Inside there are some large green leather booths - perfect for a cinema crowd. Lots of yellow metal acting as screen separators and on the chairs.
I went for a regular chicken breast burger and chips. Was rather disappointed with the chicken breast as it was quite small and very dry and chewy. The chip portion was a decent size but were all a tad cold. It came in just under 5 minutes so would have been happier for a wait if it meant a better meal.
Staff were pleasant.
