Stopped into this Nando's for a late lunch at about 3pm. It's on Goldstone Retail Park - next to a Burger King and near Pets at Home, DFS and some other larger retail stores. There are hundreds of free parking spaces offering three hours free parking. It's also about half a mile walk from both Hove and Aldrington train stations.

It was a very sunny afternoon, so even though you'd be sitting next to a large car park, there is some nice outside seating (and several large circular tables) - especially the tall stone tiled bollard which has breakfast bar style seating around it. The outside also has a nice wooden canopy around it in a wave pattern.

Inside, the layout is in a slight semi-circle shape. There's curved banquette seating round the outside with very colourful abstract portraits running along the curved wall above it. There are a few large square booths in the windows to the left as you enter and a larger circular booth towards the back. The real stand out piece is the lighting though. Spiral shades in the windows and then a large spider like web of lighting stretching across the ceiling and coming down over the circular booth. Toilets are accessed from the back-right and were clean, tiled in pale green with a large beige granite sink.

The food came in under five minutes and was delicious. Single chicken burger and chips. The chicken fillet was very thick, very moist and smothered in sauce, with a big slice of tomato and lots of lettuce. Just a tad small as didn't quite fill the bun, but was very thick. The chip portion was large and were hot and crispy too.

Staff were very friendly, especially Maria who was very jolly and chatty. Checked on by three different staff - who must all have OCD too as I've never seen Nando's staff so intent on polishing and dusting everything!
