Stopped in on this one on my way back round the North Circular for a late lunch - and what better way to do it than with a peri-peri chicken burger! This Nando's is located in the St George's Shopping Centre. It's well sign-posted on the road for parking and is reasonably priced at £1.50/2hrs, £2.10/3hrs, £4.20/4hrs, £5.20/6hrs and £10/6+hrs Mon-Sat 06:15-18:30 - and is then free after 18:30 (free after 6pm on Sundays). It is also just a few minutes walk from Harrow-on-the-Hill underground and train station. There's also a Vue within St George's and cinema-goers can received up to four hours free parking!

The centre itself was looking very festive with an Xmas spiral-tree spanning all floors. I got here at about 4pm and there were just a few tables in use inside Nando's. There were some tables "outside" where there was also a large heart on the outside wall. Inside it's very open plan and the seating is in a sort of oval shape, with six booths and bench seating running around the outside and some larger standard tables/chair sets in the middle. All of the seating is underneath a very large wavy wooden oval shaped ceiling with lots of clear orbs and and yellow/copper orbs hanging down from it for the lighting. There's also the peculiar is it a bench is it a chair which doesn't look very comfortable to sit on. Toilets are at the back and are generally clad in wood on the top half of the walls and turquoise tiles on the bottom half. Overall, for a shopping centre Nando's, this is not a bad one to be in - above average.

The food came in four minutes - and I had a chicken burger and chips. The chicken piece was a good size - just about filled the whole ciabatta but it was pretty thin. It was very saucy and juicy though. The chip portion was also a good size and they were a bit cold and a bit soggy. I think it was average overall.

Staff were fine and doing as expected.
