Nandos 149, the penultimate one before the big 150 and it was great!!

Got to the branch via the Wetherspoons which is the 94th Nando's to open in the UK (video log to be uploaded soon) and there was a queue outside. Daunting, we were advised its a 25 minute wait, no problem, lets hit the shops. Walking down the pathway to the high street, Wagamama also had a queue outside with the Five Guys queue on the inside so it was a great day for food in Guildford. It might have only been about 15minutes for the table to become available, we were seated in the corner on the lower ground floor where we could watch the queue outside or the one inside as people waited for tables.

Ordering would have been quicker if there wasn't a pram blocking two of the tills and there wasn't only one cashier. I used my green reward to make up a half chicken meal with peri chips and garlic bread. Despite how busy and cramped it was, my food arrived in 8 minutes which was a surprise and I have no complaints about it whatsoever. I'm really hoping what may be my last Nando's of 2015 will also be great like these previous ones.

Staff were great, food was great... The only thing wrong with this branch is that the toilets are on the 3rd or 4th floor? I remember it was a lot of stairs to walk up but there are two amazing pictures on the landing of the toilets. One is a mosaic of mostly blues for a sea or a field, with what looks like a red tulip on one side, and some black things which may be burnt down trees, all from glass. The other has different coloured green stuff.. The decorations downstairs hanging from the ceiling are quite creative as well though the ceiling has the unfinished look that a lot of Nando's do now.

The host was totally amazing, she seemed to be everywhere at once doing everything, it was like a one woman army greeting people, seating them, clearing tables and checking on guests, checking the sauce station and cutlery etc, totally amazing.
