Making my second visit to Goodge Street I can only ever find this branch if someone is with me as I'm terrible at directions. It's relatively easy to get there from Goodge Street Underground station, it's about a 7 minute walk but I just can't get my bearings.

Arrived just about half seven and followed the restaurant through to join the rest of the RYNers at the back end of the branch. My foursome got a wobbly round table just behind a 2 seater near the top of the stairs descending to the toilets. It's also by the disabled toilet on this one floor Nandos which is quite quaint, and intimate (small).

Didn't win anything the raffle so was fifth in line to order. Claimed a free half chicken and ordered sweet mash, a halloumi portion and a toffee gelado. I was unhappy to find that my normal combo meal of a 1/4 chicken with 2 sides has gone up by 25p but such is life. The food arrived in 13 minutes so Nandos average but my first bite into the sweet mash gave me a cold chuck of potato. The lady offered to reheat it for me advising that the microwave was being temperamental that evening. The only other complaint was that the halloumi tasted really salty..

The chicken was smothered in sauce, was hot on arrival and tasted delicious and the mash was a large portion despite the initial temperature so all in all it wasn't too bad an experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
