RYNXXV at Glasshouse Street was a great event. You enter the restaurant at street level and then go down a spiral staircase. I arrived and some tables had been reserved for our group. We already had glasses put out for us so we could get a drink straight away and for free which I thought was a nice touch. We were also given an abundance of free sides, which meant for people like me who are rather set in their ways and always order the same food, we got to try some stuff we hadn't tried before. It was good to sample the other items-but also nice to know that my favourite items on the menu are still my favourite and I'm not missing out on something better! As soon as the raffle finished, almost the entire group rushed over to place their orders, but the staff handled it well and were clearly ready for us as they had 3 (if not more) cashiers serving so the queue disappeared very quickly. The food also came out very quickly as well, particularly bearing in mind we were a reasonably big group. My usual (chicken pitta, medium, no pitta mix, with pineapple, chips, spicy rice and perinaise) came very quickly, and the no pitta mix but with pineapple combo didn't stump them like it does some places. My only slight complaint was that the chips were a little over cooked and a little soggy, but that is the only negative about the whole evening.

The staff were attentive and friendly throughout, including helping us clear the tables ready for the quiz. My team won the quiz and I had previously mentioned to one of the ladies who was helping clear the tables that I liked the spelling of her name (also a Victoria but with a much cooler spelling than I have) so I got a little bonus prize from her when we won-again, a really nice touch.

Overall I'd say I really like this restaurant, but as I don't live or work in Central London I don't really have an excuse to go back, which is a shame as the staff really helped make the evening. They went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the whole group had a good evening and at no point were we made to feel in the way or too loud/taking too long etc.
