This Nando's is up the escalator in Fulham Broadway which has its own tube stop inside... so you can pretty much come up from the underground and go straight up to Nando's! Fulham Broadway does also offer its own parking at around £2.50/hr. Fulham Broadway also has a Vue cinema inside.

Arrived at this Nando's at about 8pm the day after it had re-opened for refurbishment... and looking at some of Pompey's snaps from what it looked like before, it seems to have undergone a nice change. It seemed to have all the walls in a rather plain beige, with not much decor and mostly older brown wooden chairs/tables... and now a lot of this has gone and there is certainly more colour in the air!

Firstly the frontage/windows have changed and the left side window now has a large wooden circle feature in it. As you go through the entrance there are now four large mustard colour leather booths, along with a beamed ceiling with white distressed wood and multi-coloured lampshades hanging down from it in the front section. On the back wall in this front section are a few large canvass paintings and a couple more booths.

There is still a slightly raised section at the back of the restaurant - and here the decor is still a little plain. There are a couple of large paintings, but the ceiling is plain and then it's a little dark as there is generally only spot lighting here. The barci story still runs along the very back wall.

Not sure about the toilets before, but they are now painted turquoise. Also, the taps on the sink are set too far back, so the water only just about pours into the sink - but it means you can't fit your hands under the pour... just about enough for a finger wash :o*

I got here at about 8pm and went for the butterfly chicken with rice. As there were only a few tables in use, it was a quick turnaround and the food came in 7 minutes. It was an average meal for sure. The butterfly chicken breast was an average size, with enough sauce on it and cooked fine. The rice was an average size portion, but sadly a little chewy and cold.

Staff were fine and doing as expected.
