Edinburgh - Omni Centre - Pompey Ranger Review
This store shares the Onmi centre on Leith road in a modern part of Edinburgh with a Vue cinema, Frankie and bennies, a Virgin active gym and other food outlets. It is close to the Playhouse and also shopping in the large John Lewis over the road.
You enter the centre and walk round and find the store which was opened out into the mall, but there are Glass screens that can be used to shut the store off. It was very quiet on the day we visited and we were given a booth close to the till area. There is a mixture of booths along one side and the back, form and chairs along the other wall and stand alone tables and chairs in the centre.
The roof has surf board shaped large wicker work boards which radiate out from metal scaled pillars which give an overall impression of trees.
The sauces were well stocked up, the forks weren't unfortunately. Staff were friendly. Food took about 20 minutes, but was good when it arrived with plenty of hot chips doused in plenty of peri sprinkle and succulent large chicken portions well cooked and tasty.
Toilets were clean too.
