This was indeed my very first visit to Nando's in Edinburgh Chambers Street. However I was accompanied with my teenage daughter Gabi, who informs me that it is her fifth visit...no stranger there then. We had been out shopping in Princes Street and decided that a late lunch was in order. Gabi quickly selected the perfect venue.....Nando's with the promise of fresh spicy chicken wrap and a cooling refreshing drink.

Waited quite a while for someone to see us to a table, every Nandoca appeared rushed off their feet. After this short wait, I was shown to a table quite close to the entrance, which was "shared" with another group, with only a sauce rack separating us.

Time for the Edinburgh festival and a great chance to tick off a few new Nando's off the list, the first of which is the most convenient one for the Fringe at the heart of the hustle and bustle on Chambers Street.

Friendly staff, good service. The chicken is mostly excellent but have had a few that have died of thirst. Biggest complaint is that we enjoy the corn on the cob marinated in hot sauce but it regularly comes out plain with some sauce that's been poured on top once it's cooked. Nice enough restaurant but for god's sake put the heating on once in a while! - some areas very cold. Overall, a few complaints but still love it and going back now! Please don't spit in my mash :)

In town for business with an evening to kill, I decided to push the boat out and go for all of my favourite sides (olives to start, large peri chips, garlic bread and haloumi) to accompany my half chicken. I'd usually just opt for one or two, but the hunger from having to wait over 20 minutes to be seated got the better of me.

This large store takes up 2 shop fronts on the corner of Chambers street and George iv bridge, whilst it appears to have 2 entrances one is fake with only the corner door being the correct one. Its close to the castle and other sights so provides a great break amidst the sightseeing.

I visited the day after it opened. I enjoyed my Nando's as always but the half chicken was not as good as what you get at the Edinburgh Lothian Road chapter. My Girlfriend was a bit ill afterwards - I was okay. It is located on the same street as my work and round the corner form my flat. I have went to go back (without my girlfriend) but it is always closed. What is going on?

I had to visit this newly opened branch when I was up visiting my friend, we went on a Saturday night at 7:50, so obviously it was extremely busy and we were told it would be a 25 minute wait for the table so we decided to go for a walk for 20 minutes since it’s in the middle of Edinburgh and there’s plenty of interesting things to see within short walking distance, though at this time on a Saturday night, the streets are mostly full of drunk people in kilts playing bagpipes, and tourists on
