I only ended up at this bran because I woke up extremely early and hungry and saw my friend was online, so I messaged him suggesting it, expecting him to say no, but then in a few hours we were in Edgware! It’s easy to find, just over the road from Edgware station on the Northern line, this is the first time I’ve been to Edgware, and I’ve no idea what’s in the surrounding area as I was only there for Nando’s. There was only a few tables occupied when we arrived, it was about 12:30 on a Thursday.

Friendliness of Staff – The staff were very friendly at this branch, the Nandoca who greeted us was smiley and happy and let us choose whichever table we wanted, we sat in the corner next to the window and we had the menus laid out in front of us, obviously I don’t use mine and my friend just chose what I told him to, the Nandoca serving us was nice and friendly as well, they all seemed to be genuinely enjoying working there. We were checked up on a few times during our meal to make sure everything was okay, which it was! And then of course thanked as we left the branch. 4/5 for friendliness here!

Speed of Service – There was no queue when we ordered our food so we got served immediately, it all went smoothly and we were swiftly sat back down at our table, the food took just under 10 minutes to arrive, with nothing going wrong, so it was good! 4/5 for Speed in this branch!

Food – I got my usual Butterfly Chicken Extra-hot with Peri-chips and garlic bread. The garlic bread was delicious, it was cooked perfectly and I just devoured it, wishing I had ordered more; it tasted amazing when drenched in extra-extra hot sauce… The chips had lots of Peri spice on them, which always makes them taste amazing, they were really hot so obviously freshly cooked and yummy, the portion size wasn’t huge but it was enough to go with my meal. The chicken wasn’t quite as nice as the rest of the food, there wasn’t really enough sauce on it, so I had to use the extra-extra hot sauce on it to make it better, when eaten without it on it just tasted like chicken, perfectly cooked chicken but chicken missing the Nando’s taste. Because of the chicken (The main thing) letting the meal down slightly I’ll give it 3.5/5 for food!

Décor – The décor is pretty average in this branch, nothing really special, they had tip jars near the tills… Not sure what I think of that… It’s a pretty small branch and the layout is nothing cool… But I was a bit too tired this visit to take in the décor, I’ll give it 2/5.

Overall this was a pleasant trip to Nando’s for lunch, I was incredibly hungry and the fantastic chips and garlic bread with Nando’s spice and sauce all over them really made me happy, though the chicken could have been better. I’d give this branch 3/5 overall.
