Doncaster - James RYN Review
A terrible snow storm wasn't enough to keep me away from this brand new Nando's. Parking was nice and easy out front on the leisure complex, though it was slightly tricky to find the correct path into the car park. The restaurant itself was surprisingly busy given it was mid afternoon, so it must be proving popular with the locals. I was quickly sat down, and ordering was straightforward enough.
While I was waiting for my food to arrive I took in the decoration, which was slightly disappointing given this restaurant only recently opened. I still had Durham in mind from the night before, and given that restaurant hadn't be refurbished in several years, there wasn't much between the two.
The highlight of the meal was the food, which was the best Nando's I have had for quite some time. Each item on the plate was literally perfect, and piping hot. The garlic bread had butter spread across its entire surface, the rice was moist and plentiful, and the chicken breast was large enough to fill the whole pitta. If only all Nando's made the food to this standard!
