This Nando's is on the Meteor Centre retail park. It's just north of Derby city centre and is a 2.5 mile walk away from Derby train station. There's an Odeon Luxe on the retail park, as well as a large Morrisons and The Range - and Rollerworld just on the edge of the retail park. There is four hours free parking on the retail park.
Arrived here for lunch and it was relatively quiet - just a few tables in use. There's a really cool illuminated wooden grove maze thing set into the ceiling. A few large mustard booths running down the right side - mustard tiles in the toilets as well.
I went for the sunset burger with thighs. The thigh fillets were nice and juicy and covered in sauce. The side of chips were hot and crispy - average sized portion. I decided on trying the new Peri Honey. It had the faintest of spice added to it - it was much nicer with a good dose of Extra Hot sauce mixed through. Certainly not worth the extra £1.25 for the portion size!!
Staff were very pleasant indeed - open for a bit of chat and the food came in just under 10 minutes.
