This visit is definitely up there in terms of entertainment, definitely top ten. Although it was actually down to the lady sat next to us for our meal who we couldn't stop talking to. The restaurant was full and we waited just over ten minutes for a table but when we finally got one it was worth the wait for the jokes afterwards.

Using another orange reward I got a free half chicken mango and lime, sweet mash, halloumi and a toffee gelato which I took right away. The lady said it was an interesting way to have dinner, having my dessert first, but due to how busy it was I thought I'd have something to eat whilst we waited. It's a small branch with tables quite close together in two sections. The till and grill area is just behind a small waiting area, there's also seating out the front but not for weather like now or Winter. There were two huge portraits behind us though they looked like splash art work, nice either way.

The food arrived surprisingly within less than 15 minutes, and mine arrived before the couple next to us who had ordered before me. Elliott's took a little longer to arrive and Freeman had to go search for it, when he came to ask if we were okay. He seemed to know the lady at the next table and was worried that she was bothering us, almost frightened for us, but it was fun. We told her about Rate Your Nando's and she thought we were pulling her legs, said she wanted to join so hopefully she will. The staff there seem to know her really well and the bants was too much. At one point she actually broke the rubber from Freemans 'vintage' Nikes and I couldn't stop laughing. It was nice to see the staff interacting with the guests. Initially I was worried that it would be a bad visit but it turned out to be one of the best.

They had piled the mash into a bowl, overflowing and real tasty. The half chicken was plenty sauced and not too dry. The halloumi was lightly grilled so not burnt, it was all good.

branches always lose points for the toilets however and this one does not escape. 1, they were downstairs. 2, the first toilet had to tissue, the 2nd toilet had tissue but the person before me had used too much and it nearly flooded after flushing... It's nice that the restaurant is kept clean but slacking with the other side just ruins things.
