First time visit to this Nando’s having moved to the area. The place felt tired and needing a refresh , I was looking forward to my first Nando’s in a while . Waited 25 minutes for our food to arrive my partner’s food looked great and was nice and hot . My food looked ok but was cold , the rice,chips and butterfly chicken all cold , I asked for it to be warmed up , it wa taken away and came back 5 minutes later still cold .

I ordered two fino pittas with sides and I could not eat the fino pitta because the chicken was really burnt meaning that everything also inside it tasted of burnt and was covered in black bits. I was not happy at all & left very hungry

ordered lemon and herb butterfly chicken - came cooked, but meat was cold / tepid and was very spicy, definitely not lemon and herb (despite having that label in it.
halloumi starter not supplied until we reminded the staff - when it came (with no apology for having been forgotten) the "chilli jam" seemed to be strawberry jam with chunks of chilli thrown.
Overall very disappointing.

My first ever nandos, and i was not impressed. I had a medium hot butterfly chicken. With chips and garlic bread.
Staff were great, they had great allergy information. But the food was below expectations. The chips were bland and not that hot. Garlic bread was ok but nothing special. And the chicken..... Your main item was terrible. Bland flavourless chicken. Thank goodness you have plenty of peri peri sauce available. The chicken was dry and plain. Not what i was expecting.

We love visiting this nandos as the staff are so friendly and the service so efficient! As the kids were tired after a long Sunday outing we opted for the take out option. We were greeted by a blonde lady I'm assuming was the manager, as she was dressed differently and our order promptly taken. Several other staff mmembers also acknowledged us with a friendly hello or smile! The food was as tasty as ever and the service super speedy! We will of course be back again!! 11/10!

Me and my girlfriend decided to share a shared platter which contained the butterfly chick along with other chicken in peri-peri sauce. We had two sides of creamy mash and peri-peri chips. These complimented the chicken perfectly. The restaurant was busy when we arrived but we were greeted very pleasantly and shown to the waiting area and informed clearly as to when we would be sat down. The wait wasn't long at all, merely 5 minutes and they had allocated us a table.

Chesterfield Nando's is fantastic! It has stunning decor with a high, pitched ceiling from which dangle lights of various shapes, colours and sizes.

There is free parking right outside and on entry, you are greeted by some gym equipment to promote a charity bike ride that this Nando's is taking part in, great to see!

I just can’t hep falling in love with a place like this. The Nandos Chesterfield restaurant is clean and tidy and spacious. It was like walking into one the Disneyland theme park but in a smaller scale. A lot of attention to details. This restaurant has not been open very long. The whole restaurant was decorated with vibrant colour walls and lightings, based on African theme. They have paid a lot of attention to details. All the decorations look absolutely stunning.

Stopped off at this newest Nando's on my way back from up North. Chesterfield is only 6 miles or so off the M1, so is easily found. This Nando's is on the Alma Leisure Park which is also home to a Nuffield gym, a Cineworld and other eateries. There are plenty of free car park spaces, but it even at 4pm on a Saturday they were almost full, so I imagine it gets very busy on an evening. The Crooked Spire Church is half a mile walk away and well worth a visit.

The food was as good as expected. The new restaurant and seating area was nice and clean and well presented. However, I had one major issue. When I attended the counter to place my order I looked over into the cooking area and saw food and serviettes all over the cooking area at the feet of the staff. I mentioned this to the person serving me who nicely said, "this is much better than normal,it can be much worse.
