Chatham - Ryan Review
This Nando's is located on the same retail park as Dicken's World down on the quayside. It is a reasonable sized retail park with the Dockside Outlet Centre with other eateries and usual suspects, as well as an Odeon cinema. Parking is free in one of hundreds of spaces.
Arrived here quite late on a Tuesday evening - 9:45pm, so needless to say it was pretty quiet with only two tables in use by the time I left 30 minutes later. Because of this, there was no wait to order and the food came in 7 minutes. Staff were as expected and did nothing more than the minimum.
This isn't the biggest of branches. There are only three larger booths on the left side of the restaurant, otherwise the rest is table/chair seating. There must have been a lot of couple in, as they were set as tables for two - and if it were full, in this seating pattern I imagine it could get quite cramped. There is a little more space over to the back-right (near the stairs up to the toilets) though, so see if you could get there.
The decor was quite nice. Plenty of large canvas paintings and pots/plants throughout. The lighting was the most unique item in here - big round shades with very bright bulbs behind them.
The food was good too. Big portion of olives and hot, succulent and well-marinaded chicken. The chips and rice were both hot - and crisp and moist respectively.
Good visit all round.
