Cardiff - Old Brewery Quarter - Pompey Ranger Review
I found some free evening parking in the shadow of the millennium stadium on Park street, other than this I would suggest public transport as this is the very city centre. This tired and aging store opens up into the courtyard of the Old Brewery quarter which it shares with neighbouring stores such as Chiquito and La Tasca.
Our evening was first marred by finding dirty cutlery, and then further marred by the long wait for our Houmous and pita and totally ruined by discovering that the pita had been burnt which they attempted to hide by having it on the underside. The worst Pita I have had in Nandos ever.
The next attempt by the lack lustre staff was when they tried to pass off 2 legs as half a chicken dropping it on our table and attempting to make a run for it before being hailed back by us. They then tried insisting 2 legs counts as half a chicken before accusing us of asking for 2 legs. The person I was with point blank refused to accept it and they took the charred legs away, fortunately they didn’t take as long to bring out the new half chicken plonked on the plate with our existing sides.
All in all a very disappointing visit and a place to avoid.
