PLACE: Table 6. It's my 30th Nando's on the challenge so I thought I'd make it special. Camdos is the first Nando's I ever visited at the age of 12. I can't remember the occasion but it was my Uncle @davepooleibiza who introduced me to the legendary peri-ometer. I remember being obsessed with the idea of choosing your heat and customising your meal with sides. I also loved the way all of your food was shared, eaten with your fingers and brought on the same plate. This do's has a very special place in my heart and even though they have refurbished some of the shabby charm away, I still give it 9/10

SERVICE: Host: Andreia Cashier: Mirek. Depsite this 'straunt having seemingly shrunk over the last 14 years, Andreia was very determined to find us a table at this busy time. At first, 3 of us sat on a couples table but it was apparent after analysing my order, that my meal wasn't going to fit on the tiny chicken platform bestowed upon us. So we asked to relocated to a larger table, no problem for Andreia. Mirek was a trainee but he was already grasping the correct nattitude. He stamped me twice as I ordered so much and he correctly pointed out that I had a lot of loyalty cards (seven). I said "I love Nando's" he said "they put something in the sauce." I don't know if this is true but it warrants further investigation- 9/10

FOOD: I commemorated this occasion by ordering exactly what my uncle ordered back in 1999 even opting for the hard burger over my usual pitta. I think the order erred on the greedy side (opinions in the comments please) and the large chips is so much bigger than I remember but no wonder I fell in love (with the chicken, not my uncle)- 9/10

COMPANION: Unfortunately my Uncle now lives in Ibiza, so I brought 2 important Nando's figureheads with me- El, my most dedicated challenge Wingwoman and Bertie, the true inventor of the Nando (the shark pose I do). As usual they were fantastic company and I think I spotted a tear in Bertie's eye when I told him that we were sharing a platter of remembrance- 9/10
