When Jackie messaged me to ask if I wanted a one way road trip to Bournemouth I didn't hesitate to say yes. Checked the RYN website and saw there were two branches so I could get two killed birds and eat them. It was great.
Less than a two hour drive and we were in Bournemouth by the beach. The weather isn't the best but I'm not there to sight see. The Nando's is in town by the shopping parade, above TGI Fridays and next to La Tadcaster. They don't have a Five Guys yet.
Greater and seated straight away by the manager it's a nice open plan branch. All One level and very colourful, well lit and open. The till and grill are straight as you enter, plenty of waiting area space and the seats are all on one side by a window over looking the park. There are a few tables outside the branch too.
Ordering was easy but the manager had to manually put on my chili because the girl at the til did it wrong. No fuss.
The food arrived in less than ten minutes. A half chicken mango and lime with sweet mash which was very hot. Decent portion size of mash and the chicken was juicy and we'll fed. The mash was very tasty and the chicken smothered in sauce.
The decor as you can imagine for a branch only two weeks old is very new and shiny. I'll upload pictures . All in all it was a good effort and im very pleased it was my first new Nando's of 2017.
