Bournemouth - Castlepoint

Menu clearly says:
'Two chicken breasts, joined by crispy flame-grilled skin. Infused with PERi-PERi and served in your choice of spice'.

Would like to say a massive thank you to John who was doing a great job organising everything when we came in! The random act of kindness of free food for a fellow Brentford fan is something I can’t stop telling my family and friends about and genuinely brings a smile to my face. thank you!

Ordered the Bernie burger it was cold, they took the burger away to cook a new one and left the chips to eat. Came back with a new one, ok but still not hot. My advice would be not only to make sure that it’s piping hot, but to serve all meals on warm plates and toast your buns. They are very thick burgers and are probably cooked from frozen. As a company you should refund any meal that is not up to standard.

Cold broccoli and warm but overcooked chicken. Disappointing meal as we look forward to a Nando's chicken meal. The spinach dish was the only decent dish on the plate.

The service area seemed to be very backed up and slow.

Ordered takeaway - The staff were too busy trying to entice me into turning all my regular sides into larges that they forgot the peri salt on my chips and burnt the rest of my food to a complete crisp - DISGUSTING.

I went into Nando's with an old friend who loves Nando's. I on the other hand am sceptical but the special 'Sunset' chicken burger was awesome! Could have eaten another three. A little dark inside but good food and atmosphere.

Really good chicken today. Whilst it was not my first Nando's visit to this restaurant, I had a few firsts on this visit. Despite being told on mass not to order the mashed potatoes at Nando's as it's not great (and mash being one of my favourite foods) I went for it, after years of hesitations. The verdict - good!! I had such low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. I can now add peri peri sauce to one of my favourite foods. I ordered a 1/4 chicken, mash and corn on the cob.

Nothing to write how about but a good average Nando's experience.

After a Hockey game in the area we decided to call into Bournemouth to hit it off our list. It's situated on the edge of a large out of town shopping centre. Being a saturday afternoon the traffic approaching was diabolical and we spent quite a while sat in queues.

This is located on the Castlepoint Shopping Park in the East Village. Just be aware if you follow sat nav (or at least my sat nav) the post code takes you round the back of the industrial estate to the deliveries entrances. Otherwise, a few mini roundabouts where you have to come back on yourself gets you to the East Village parking, which is right outside Nando's front door.
