Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:
I notice on the reviews some people have the two Bluewater Nando's mixed up. I checked my reciept before writing this!
This is the one next to the cinema in the complex (assume the other one is in the complex as well of course).
It's smaller than a normal Nando's and is must be used for the cinema crowd. I expect long queues at times but luckily we were early for lunch and did not queue. Table was not very clean when we sat down. Paying for the food was ok but the lady had trouble understanding my English. (I'm born and bred London!).
The food came fairly quickly and was of normal standard. I don't think I've ever had a chicken dripping in sauce as yet but there is hope.
Obviously being a shopping centre the parking is free and easy (unless used in very busy times). The decor of this Nando's was basic. Nevertheless, it suppose it can be quite intimate for some.
The gentleman who brought my little girl her ice lolly was very friendly.
One last thing of note - the glasses given for drinks were wines glasses. Is this something new?
They also had some of the trial dishes I had once seen at the Thurrock Retail Park Nando's.
I had heard Bluewater was a fantastic Nando's so have left a little disappointed. Saying that, MUST try the the other given the chance and the food like I said before was fine.
