So the night before a marathon and what better way to fuel up than a Nando's!

This Nando's is on Bedford Street, so just a few minutes walk from Great Victoria Street train station and just round the corner from the National trust pub - owned by Nicholsons (The Crown). A ten minute walk will also get you to most places in the city centre - St Anne's Cathedral, City Hall, Titanic etc.

Parking is wildly different and many car parks have very different opening times. For example, if you don't mind the 10 minute walk, park over the river by Titanic/Odyssey for approx 90p/hr - but park in Victoria shopping centre for £3/hr!

Arrived here at about 8:15pm. There were just a handful of tables free and the food came in 17 minutes. Staff seemed rushed off their feet, but were doing as expected.

This restaurant is a big open space. There are high ceilings that take in a mezzanine level. Upstairs on this level are multiple shelving units, lots of sculptures, lots of sets of paintings. The toilets are upstairs too (with standard black granite sinks).

Downstairs, above the entrance - high up at the mezzanine level, are sets of red chillies for lighting. There are large canvas paintings on the back left wall from the entrance. Lots of seating throughout in all shapes and sizes. The pick of the seating is a large circular booth all the way round the back/right past the counter - with a nice lampshade with words cut out spelling out the Nando's passion.

The food was quite simply divine. The chicken portion was huge, very succulent, smothered in sauce, piping hot and white meat right to the bone. The chips portion was also large and all the chips were hot and crispy and the rice portion was also towering over the bowl and was hot and moist. Truly delicious!!
