This is one of those tardis Nando's that looks small on the outside but is quite large inside. It also boasts two floors and an outside seating area so there are plenty of tables available.

Got there about half five with a friend and baby in a pushchair. The tables are generously spaced but we sat at table 1, right opposite the counter which is situated as you enter the restaurant. All the staff were excited about the cute baby so they kept coming over to have a look, they were very friendly, smiles all round.

Only ten minute wait for a free half chicken, peri chips, halloumi and garlic bread. A toffee gelado would follow when I was ready for it. They process rewards by swiping the card to claim it, then re-swiping to order the meal. I was worried that I wouldn't get a chilli with the re-swipe but she said it counted as a new order... That would mean you can swipe it more than once a day which Nando's say you can't... Who knows.

The food was really good, nothing burnt and plenty to eat on the plate. The chicken was a pretty decent size and covered in sauce, no burnt bits. The garlic bread was grilled pretty well and the halloumi was extremely tasty. A large portion of peri salted chips were provided so the food gets no complaints whatsoever.

The upstairs section is very small, maybe only 15 tables but an amazing pottery decoration running across the far wall. The pots are also hanging from the ceiling in a clustered decoration which is offset against the white pattern. At the front of the restaurant, there is foliage which runs from the ceiling to the ground floor underneath. This is against the glass front window which was also open in yesterday's cool weather. The toilets were one of the cleanest and best patterned.

The branch is next to the a cinema, something and a wagamama and less than five minutes walk to two shopping centres friars walk and hale vey? So if it were busy there is plenty to do whilst you wait. Seating stretches back from the outside front to deep into the restaurant, including upstairs so there probably is no long waiting due to all the accommodation.
