This Nando's is on Dundee Camperdown Leisure Park - home to Dundee Ice Arena and a Cineworld. It's four miles NW of the city centre - which is also the nearest train station. There are hundreds of free parking spaces across the leisure park.

Arrived here in the evening and it was pretty busy with a 20 minute wait for a table. The outside of the building is funky, especially with the big lit up Barci at night. Inside it's not what you'd expect from a brand new Nando's. Quite cramped between tables and nothing spectacular of note - not like the Glasgow one I visited earlier in the day. Toilets were clad in brown tiles with the metal/wooden surrounds in yellow.

After the wait for a table the food took over 25 minutes to come. I went for a half chicken with chips and rice. The chicken was a tiny size piece with barely any mea on it at all. It was really scabby - all skin and bones and the skin wasn't juicy it was dry and very chewy. The meat, what little there was, was also very, very dry - very, very chewy indeed. The chip portion was small and were cold, not even luke warm but cold. The rice portion was also small and was also cold - and all congealed together. All of it was very difficult to swallow... literally. If this was anybody's first Nando's you would never go back. Possibly my worst ever Nando's food.

I was actually going to send it back... even though I was an English fella in a big Yes to Scottish independence town... but with the restaurant being so busy I wasn't checked on and the staff were running round like headless chicken (which I would have preferred to have been served).

Big thumbs down on this Nando's experience.
