I haven't reviewed this branch since it opened last December so I thought I'd do an update. Usually I dislike going to Nando's on a Friday night because it's always packed but if a friend suggests it, I can't say no. Arriving there at about 8 there were plenty of parking spaces available as most of the shops were shut by then.

Speed of Service - 3/5 It was busy when we arrived and we were told it would be a 15 minute wait but we were seated after a few minutes. There was no queue when we went up to order but a long one formed after us which seems to happen a lot. The food took about 20 minutes to arrive which is understandable considering how busy it was.

Friendliness of Staff - 4/5 - The staff were all friendly at the branch, and we got greeted with a smile when they took our name, so no complaints about this.

Food - 3/5 The food was a bit varied, I got Butterfly chicken extra hot with peri-chips and two portions of garlic bread. I was a bit annoyed at first because my friend seemed to have quite a few more chips than me even though we both only ordered one portion. The chips were tasty though, but I find they always lack enough peri-salt these days. I was disappointed with the garlic bread as it wasn't as well done as I like it to be, barely cooked at all. The chicken was big and tasty though and once I covered it in more extra-hot sauce it was delicious. I enjoyed the food.

Decor - 4/5 - The decor has not changed since my last review. The branch had outside tables available which were taken inside about half 8. One thing I dislike about this branch is the seats that they have you sit on, they have wavey backs that go up and down to different heights and at some places you have nothing to lean back against which is kind of annoying when sat waiting for a table. Another problem was that the ice machine was not working so couldn't put any ice in my Coke, but the fact that this branch has the cool electronic drink machines makes up for that.

Overall I'd give this visit a 3/5 and hopefully next time the ice machine will be working and my garlic bread will be more grilled!
