Visited this Nando's on a very wet evening, so some hot chicken was just what I was after! This Nando's is in the city centre and located right by the Odeon and large TJ Hughes. Oldham Central tram station runs infront of the Sainsbury's which is just a couple minutes walk from Nando's. There's lots of free weekend parking in Oldham in car parks such as Southgate Street and Waterloo street, otherwise during the week from 8am it's generally £1.10/1hr, £1.80/2hrs, £2.10.3hrs, £2.40/4hrs, £3/5hrs with a max charge of £6 above 6hrs. You can also get 3 hours free parking at Sainsbury's with a purchase.

Arrived here around 8pm and it was less than half full. As it has been created inside the old Town Hall, there are visible walls of old parts of the town hall inside, which is a nice touch - and the toilets are located two levels below in the old archive facility and so is an interesting walk down the staircase - with the toilets being clean and having the original walls intact. There are some eight or so tables outside with a good selection of all shapes and sizes of tables inside. The ceiling above you as you enter has lots of wooden balls on it with paper lanterns suspended from it. Lots of orange and lime green leather for the seating in the banquettes around the outside, lots of canvas paintings on the walls and further dome lighting dotted around. All in all a nicely decorated restaurant.

The staff were very chatty and friendly and James and Liv particularly so. The food came in just under 5 minutes and was a reasonable standard. Half a chicken, chips and rice - and the chips were a good size portion and cooked well. The rice was a standard size and the chicken was cooked very well, but not too meaty on the bone.
