This store is in old town Alexandria, a very picturesque historic riverside town, the store which is on the main street matches this with awesome artwork, unique design features such as a hole from the 1st floor down to the ground floor which provides a interesting balcony and a chance to hang the lights down. Downstairs the front windows are capable of opening up to bring the outside in, large benches in the round provide seating and a large service till. Upstairs is laid out very much like a art gallery with bare brick walls and good paintings regularly placed along the wall, the opposing wall is made up of old metal advertising signs and the service till is at the back in the middle of the store with the toilets accessed behind it.

The greeter they had on the door was not so much a greeter more a grater and her sarcastic style and rudeness really irritated, I don't know if its a throw back to 1812 and trying to chase the British away. When I queued up to get served I asked what flavour of frozen Yoghurt they had and the server asked the greeter and she just laughed and said "I don't know" to which I enquired where it was to which she replied "upstairs" so my response was so shall I go and look myself to which she said "I guess so"

When I got upstairs to check I saw there was another till area so I decided to move myself to an upstairs table to get away from her and be closer to the frozen Yoghurt. The woman serving upstairs was so much nicer and really friendly.

My chicken came out more charred than I would have liked but under the skin it was fine, the chips were plentiful, hot and well cooked, the corn was also well cooked and tasty, so I enjoyed my meal and the staff upstairs were really amazing and friendly which brings the rating back up but the greeter stopped them reaching the full 5 that they deserved. I was wearing my Nandos Defence League T-shirt from the UK and the Manager very nicely offered me a shirt from their store which I was very pleased with and still have. The frozen yoghurt was nice as well and the machine was working well.

Wasn't quite sure why the tax was $1.15 as opposed to $0.69 that it was for same meal at most stores.

Would happily return to this store but I would make sure to learn the staffing roster first.
