Parking:
Parking is plentiful but expensive in the City Centre and generally costs £2.50/1hr, £5/2hrs, £7.50/3hrs and upwards from there.

Big thank you to Theo for making me feel welcome, a fabulous Nando visit. He even made my daughter (19 months old) feel welcome by talking to her and making her smile.

Thank you,

Hallie

Another overnight stay with work meant another Nando's boneless platter and I headed to the Piccadilly branch before heading off to my hotel in the Trafford Cricket Ground (date again an estimate).

I came to the restaurant on Saturday evening and was served by a Danny with a cockney accent. Very rude, made me and my friends feel very uncomfortable like we were not welcome or priority in the restaurant.

I have to say I'm extremely disappointed with my order. I went to nandos straight from work to order 5 spicy chicken wings as takeaway.I ended up waiting for about half and hour for the wings. Finally got home and wanted to eat and the wings were to tiny they should not have cost 6 pounds. As if that wasn't bad enough they were so badly burnt that it was so bitter and I couldn't eat it.

My first ever visit to Manchester’s newish Piccadilly Gardens Nando’s was off-the-cuff and hangover induced. After traipsing around town for several hours, I headed there to meet friends and have lunch. Considering how busy and rowdy the Piccadilly Gardens area is day-in, day-out, I was surprised to enter the spacious restaurant and find it quite relaxed. I really was expecting something along the lines of the unorganised catastrophe that is Printworks Nando’s.

Every nandos is a great nandos for me, I seem to be very fortunate that every time i come to this Nandos the food is superb and that's why I keep going back. The restaurant can get busy but there are two floors so its very unlikely you will ever have to wait around for a table. I had a Butterfly chicken breast with chips and garlic bread which were all cooked to perfection and despite the wait were still hot and the staff were very friendly and helpful when serving me and my girlfriend.

After some debate amongst friends over which of the many Nando's to visit, Piccadilly was chosen much to my delight. We entered, and waited around 5 minutes before being shown to a table downstairs. After a little consultation on the menu, I headed off to order my meal. I was served fairly quickly, and efficiently, returning to my table not long after.

Nando's 103 and my second visit to the amazing city of Manchester!
Next time I'm up I'll have to visit Old Trafford again but for these next two days it's gonna be Nando's.

Parking is very expensive in Manchester spending £12.50 for a few hours on a Sunday afternoon. The store is right in the heart of the city on Piccadilly square. The building is shared with a Zizzi and a supermarket. Lots of seating out front barricaded off from the pavement by box planters which give a degree of privacy. The inside is fresh and pleasant with lots of wood and decor. We were seated downstairs which had a little more privacy, though no phone signal.

Another RateYourNandos dinner, this time Manchester Piccadilly was the location.. The outlet is located on two levels, the main and the basement. The main level contains the till and grill, and three rows of seats extending through to the back of the outlet. We were placed in the basement, which contains the toilets, a small till point, and a small number of nice tables. Plenty of red. After meet and greet, the raffle (which produced some results!), we went to order.

This Nando's is quite good, it's convenient and has a decent layout with different types of tables. I prefer upstairs for phone signal mind you ;) I went to Ireland the following day so the requirement was a mountain of Nando's goodness. I had my usual thighs, spicy rice, garlic bread, peri chips, macho peas and a chili wrap. Miniature food baby followed.

Well what better way to round off the fastest England ODI 10 wicket-win than with some peri-peri goodness? As I was at Old Trafford, the short walk to the Metro meant I could easily get to this Nando's. The Manchester Piccadilly Gardens stop is just a minute's walk from this Nando's - and since you are right in the city centre, it means the Nando's is also less than half a mile walk from The Printworks (Odeon), The Arndale and the National Football Museum.

I decided to visit this Nandos on opening day after seeing the hoardings going up, and eagerly awaiting another location to add to the lunch list.
