A fitting location for a leaving dinner which manager Vinnie was happy to cater for even if he wasn't working. For big groups, this branch is great mid-week as it doesn't get that busy and we were given the large table for 20 (well a bunch of tables shoved together) in the middle which was perfect.
Ordering was slightly chaotic as inevitably some people's food arrived way before others but that was not a problem. As usual, I was one of the first to order and one of the last to finish eating which is impressive considering I had a 15 minute head start on some other members of my party!
I have noticed that the houmous portion is much more generous here than at some other branches such as Brent Cross where the pitta to houmous ratio was not good enough and I ran out of houmous. No such problem in Edgware as we had loads of houmous leftover once all the pitta had been demolished.
My last Nando's for at least 3 months went down well even if the chicken got a bit dry towards the end and the very end of my wing (undoubtedly the best bit) was missing!
It's a shame they don't sell marinade in the restaurant as I don't have any to take with me to Spain, only the sauce. I will cope though, don't worry.
This Nando's was also a historic one in the sense that it was the first ever time a group of people at Nando's included a reviewer from each category on the Rate Your Nando's Contributor list as Extra Hot (me), Hot (James), Medium (Joel Kara, Lozzy), Lemon+Herb (Jonny Grunwald, Zan, Olivier, Dom and Ricky Marshall) and Plain (Adam) were all represented!
The Nando's staff were also rather impressed by my t-shirt, scroll down for evidence!
