I went to this branch with a friend since it’s so close to my Uni, though it’s Camden Nando’s it’s closer to Chalk Farm tube station, we went about 1pm before our lab class, missing a seminar to go to Nando’s, I think it’s worth it. It seemed a small branch but I think there was more tables through the back of the branch, it was pretty busy in the small front part when we arrived, with a family with a small loud child again, agh, parents control your children and stop disturbing my meals!

Speed of Service – It took them a while to come over to us and seat us, even though a few members of staff saw that we were there. There was only one person in the queue when we went up to order so we were served quickly the food arrived in well under 10 minutes, very quick service, but because of the not noticing us when we were stood waiting I’m going to have to give it a 3/5 for Speed of Service.

Food – The food was pretty average, I was really hungry though and food obviously tastes better when you’re hungry, the chip portion size was bigger than average, but not huge though they had plenty of Peri-salt on them. The chicken was pretty average, nothing special about it, but still delicious and not burnt or anything, but the garlic bread was a bit soft for my liking, not burnt enough. Though the branch did have plenty of knives and forks and plates, which is always a good thing. 3/5 for food, pretty average, but not bad.

Friendliness of Staff – The staff weren’t that friendly in this branch, they didn’t seem to smile and as I said they let us stand by the door for a few minutes before they seated us, so I wasn’t really impressed by them, 2/5 for Friendliness of Staff.

Décor – Now the décor in this branch was pretty awesome, Marc mentioned in a previous review that they have a big round mirror surrounded by empty peri-peri sauce bottles, I though it was a mirror at first and when I looked in it I expected to see my reflection but what I saw was a female staff member walking towards me, so what I assumed was a mirror was just a round hole in the wall, I don’t know if Marc is just crazy and sees mirrors or whether it was smashed or stolen, most likely smashed, but it was still pretty awesome, and they had other cool things like beneath the tills there was lots and lots of ground up.. well I’m not sure what they were, but they must be something Nando’sey and they were cool, so 4/5 for Décor in this branch.

Overall a pretty average visit with nothing special happening, and was brought down by the mediocre chicken and poor staff, I’d give it a 3/5 overall.
